Glad you asked, Jack. I just happened to have this loose change lying on my bureau.
NEW ENGLAND: Patriots are 10th team in NFL history to overcome an 0-2 start and win their division. The last two clubs to accomplish this feat (1996 Patriots; 1993 Cowboys) both reached the Super Bowl...NE has the No. 1 red-zone defense in the AFC (38.8% TD), and have allowed only 2 TDs in the last 11 red-zone trips...Since 1993, NE is 13-4 (including 3-1 in playoffs) when temperature is 36 degrees or less.
PITTSBURGH: Prior to this year, the Steelers under Bill Cowher won 5 AFC Central Titles and advanced to the Super Bowl just once...Pitt led the NFL with 34:10 average time of possession...In the playoff game against the Ravens, Baltimore was held to 22 rushing yards and a 2.0ypc average, and also held to 3 points on 3 trips inside the Steelers 20 yard line.
