First for me , to see a pitcher in the Majors throw a ball in stands . Not saying it hasn't happened before .
It's comparable to the Jimmy Piersall meltdown who was Bi-polar.

said yesterday while i was driving that around 20 years ago a pitcher turned and threw a ball into the seats in centerfield but I didm't catch who they said it was.
