Betting online doesn't always have to be about wagering on the big events like the
Super Bowl or UFC

102 fight card. Sometimes, you can enjoy individual games during the week in
sports like baseball.

St. Louis Cardinals @ Los Angeles Dodgers
Wednesday,
August 18, 10:10 p.m. ET
Adam Wainwright (14-7, 2.62) vs Clayton Kershaw
(8-7, 2.91)

Adam Wainwright and the Cards are playing good baseball right
now, so it's hard to ever bet against them, even when they're visiting the
National League-leading Los Angeles Dodgers. Wainwright is on fire, having
allowed two or fewer runs in 10 straight starts. He's also a ridiculous 9-1 on
the road, so the trip to L.A. won't scare him. To top it off, he shut out the
Dodgers for eight innings earlier this season in a win. Interestingly, his
counterpart, Clayton Kershaw, is set up just as well for success. He shut out
the Cards for eight innings of his own last month and has a 1.86 ERA at home
this season.

It's safe to say we'll bet under the total on Wednesday, but
who will win? I'd go with the hotter offense. The Cards are scoring runs in
bunches since acquiring Matt Holliday, so they'll eke out a win.
