In my 9th day posting here, had my first losing day last night. Luckily, my other pick covered easily, so I only dropped $15. Going into the bottom of the 9th up 4-3 with Smoltz on the mound, I thought I had the perfect night, but it was not to be.
Tonight's picks:
BOS -140 (didn't like them at all last night, but I think they take it tonight - Garland can't pitch vs. Boston (lifetime ERA of 9.82), I don't know why)
CIN -135 (Dessen has a lifetime ERA of 0.00 in 3 gms vs. FLA)
HOU/STL Over 7.5 +100 (Low total in a game with this many hitters; Cardinals surprisingly hit Oswalt very well)
SD/COL Over 9.5 -120 (Linesmakers now over-compensating for humid balls, last night's game reached 13 runs)
