one dog, one fav today.
ny red bulls officially open red bull arena today vs chicago. red bulls have put together a 7-0-3 preseason record, with their latest victory against Santos from brasil. problem was santos played only two starters and filled in with reserve and youth academy players.
ny was awful last year, and will have a lot of new players on the field today, but i think it will take a while for them to produce and until they prove they can compete vs their peers, i like the plus money i am getting with the fire.
chicago was a pk loss away from mls cup last year and return the bulk of that side this year. i believe they and columbus are the best teams in the east and see no reason that the fire should not win, even on the road.
chicago was one of only two teams with winning road records last year(LA) going 6-3-6. on paper they are better from back to front, and i think they ruin the red bulls home opener in their new stadium.
fire + 185
Columbus hosts toronto at -175. the crew were last year's eastern champs and like i said i think columbus and chicago are the class of the east again this year. toronto is still trying to figure out their starting 11, even trading us international marvell wynne just two days ago. columbus at home vs a team that was 2-8-5 on the road last year, and i see a two goal w by the crew.
crew -175
good luck to all.
