i saw that liddell/ortiz opened at pinny at -225 liddell.....

i think that`s low....liddell`s about as hot as any fighter drawing breath....in mma, boxing, you name it....

sooo, ortiz, has a life and death fight with forrest griffin....which quite a few guys thought he actually lost....

he then goes on a "beat ken shamrock like he owes you money" marathon tour...and all of a sudden he`s a legit threat to liddell?

the guy`s 31 years old...he`s not going to re-invent himself...

tito since 2002...

Win Ken Shamrock TKO (Corner Stoppage) UFC 40-Vendetta 11/22/2002 3

Loss Randy Couture Decision (Unanimous) UFC 44-Undisputed 9/26/2003 5 5:00

Loss Chuck Liddell KO (Punches) UFC 47-It's On 4/2/2004 2 0:38

Win Patrick Cote Decision (Unanimous) UFC 50-The War of '04 10/22/2004 3 5:00

Win Vitor Belfort Decision (Split) UFC 51-Super Saturday 2/5/2005 3 5:00

Win Forrest Griffin Decision (Split) UFC 59-Reality Check 4/15/2006 3 5:00

Win Ken Shamrock TKO (Strikes) UFC 61-Bitter Rivals 7/8/2006 1 1:18

Win Ken Shamrock TKO (Strikes) UFC-Fight Night 7 10/10/2006 1 2:23

blown out by liddell and couture....splits vs belfort and griffin...a win over a green cote...

wins over a finished shamrock...

while liddell has crushed everything in his path....

i thought tito was scared to death vs chuck the first time...i think chuck is inside his head...

i know that chuck`s getting old....but,he doesn`t look to me like he`s lost anything yet...

i think the shamrock beatings have given tito a goose in the public`s eye..ithink that`s why the line is more than reasonable.....and those wins weren`t worth a damn,imo.... i thought tito looked terrible in the second half of the griffin fight....he was gassed and was lucky to get the "w"....

maybe chuck gets old overnight...maybe tito does re-invent himself...

personally,i`m not buying it...

he`s not beating chuck on his feet....and he had trouble taking griffin down... he struggled terribly in that fight,imo...

if tito does change...finds a way to not be intimidated by chuck...and gets it done,so be it....

i think -225 is a very reasonable price...

I agree with you that -220 is too low. Though Chucks the big celeb these days and even though he's been partying alot,I dont see it making a bit of difference. Tito's not been same since the Couture 'spanking'. Tito understands now its a bizness, and seems to have lost his drive outside of money, like so many US heavyweight Boxers.

Tito's always had probs wrestling lengthy guys since his days at CSB and nothing changes here. Chuck will eventualkly catch him and puttem to sleep or bust him up for a TKO.

Hope all is well these days GW , take care and good luck. May all your bets be winners.

"the bunker"
i see......i thought that was a bit low........

i guess ortiz could win...anything can happen...i`d been skeptical about liddell...i had couture...twice.....and the s.o.b. either wouldn`t....or couldn`t take liddell down...and if tito doesn`t take liddell down,i don`t see him winning...

anyway..we both know anything can happen...

joey...i hope you caught my mea culpa on the shinkick we had awhile back in this forum.....

i lost my cool...and was flailing worse than sobral vs liddell II..........

i came back and apologized and kissed so much ass that i was forced to carry around listerine for a week....

i was outta control...and pretty much insulted anyone within earshot...or keyboard range...

glad you popped back in...

be well,bud...

anyone have thoughts about sylvia v. monson? is monson good enough to take silvia down enough to get the ground and pound win? I think sylvia's hugely overrated but if monson wants to trade with him it's no contest, too much reach.

I've been looking at the Silvia Monson fight as well. I hate Silvia, not because of any other reason than I think he's a goof. The heavyweight champ should be a stud and I just don't think he's a stud. Monson is a short bastard but strong as hell. Even if he gets Silvia to the ground, I don't know if he'll be able to do anything. That reach is too much and there's not enough of a talent difference to over come it. I say Silvia wins, won't bet it becuase of the odds, and I'll be rooting for Monson.

Pride real deal this weekend boys. Lopsided odds but there are some good ones.

I forgot to add one more thing. Problem is I don't know the rules because I usually don't share stuff like this, but I know I watch MMA fights all the time during the day for free. Usually they are replays from pride and ufc. I know this weekends Pride real deal will be shown on it.

Can I post the sites name? All you have to do is register and it's free. Let me know and I'll tell everyone who wants to know. Just trying to help my fellow mjer's

Layin.......if its the LIVE feed we get at Sang*** site please have them email u personally for it. The servers get clogged and in all fairness to the people that are paid and donars there (I contribute healthy monthly fee 2 keep the servers up) it would be shame if some lurker grabbed the URL, spammed it elsewhere and caused meltdown for everyone.

I feel same about Stream. They stopped taking new people, thank god I got on early.

I am always happy to share with the guys that post regularly, but like the TRackers, I suggest using discretion.

GW- Evveryone vents. I take it with grain of salt. I've had plenty of my my nastiness spread around. Its all good.

I have 2 sharp guys that love Sylvia, and two that LOVE Monson.

I took Monson +330 and am sticking by it. IMO< depsite the height differnces, I think this bout closes Less than -200, maybe -185 on fight night. If it goes to ground, OR if Moson pulls guard ala Sakara - Lister, he is 100% going to finish Tim. Tim by KO or Cut, or Monson by sub. Its that simple. Aus Silva should have had Tims back, but the fence kept him up and Monson's grappling, strenghth, conditioning far exceed Aussurios. Just my 2 cents.

Peace and good luck.

Oddessa, it's not the Sangiuness site. I've never heard of that one. I have used Streamtvnow and that's how I found out about this site. It's the feed that streamtv uses for all of it's mma if you know what i mean. I paid the fee at streamtv but it's been to inconsistent for me to even log in anymore.

I would be interested, and I"m also willing to pay nominal fees to keep sites running, it's no good to have access to something good go to heck because of people who won't contribute.

The feed that Streamuses is the same as the Sang****, only I was refering to its original name in 2005 or so when it started out, not the 5 letter site that you know of now, thats listed on CH 13 on Stream.....

I think , Stream actually gets the lower quality feed of Sang**** thats why it often breaks up during live playback. Sangi**** never used to buffer prior to them going on Stream.

In any case, I am more than happy to tell any REGS here what direction to take if they wanted via email and sure Layinwood would also share it.

Its only my suggstion to keep it amongst regulars and not posting the actual URL on any boards.

I dont want anyone to get wrong idea about not sharing. But like u streamtv users have to know, when it gets flooded it breaks down and man thats a bummer. I am only looking out for all of us when I say the less people that know, long term, the better.

Its funny, bc at the UG (underground), on fight night, 100 newbies pop in w/ 1 post counts begging for the URL, but the UG is tough as nails about protecting the secret and bandwidth. Its gets crazy, bc regs troll and start private threads for Bluenamers, Paid memebers, with thread title Free MMA feed etc...
Its like an inside joke they pull on the mudnamers and newbies b/c they cant access the threads. lol

Anyways, all have a good night.

UT, it depends on how much wood you're comfortable with. If you're not scared then lay some on Fedor. It truely is free money. He is unbeatable at this point, but 1000 is just too high. Shogun Rua is my favorite fighter BUT they're using UFC rules for the fights. IE no kicks or knees to the head while the guy is down. That takes away a lot of Shogun's game. If you haven't seen Shogun fight, get ready. He's balls to the wall and very exciting. Saying that, Randleman has the ability to beat anyone(doubt he will but he has the ability becuase of his strength and quickness)

It will be a boring fight but Barnett is a good bet. He's fighting very well right now and I just don't see him losing since he'll be fighting here in the US.

Safest bet, if your book allows, is a parlay with Fedor and Barnett. IMO

"the bunker"
i`m not altogether enamored of randleman anymore,to be honest.....

he`s become used to losing to the top guys.....sure,he`s quite the specimen......but,i never loved his cardio.....and as i said,i think, the lucky punch win over crocop notwithstanding, his career`s been on a downward spiral.....6 losses in his last 8 bouts?(including the hail mary vs crocop).....

all that said, the broken arm that rua suffered vs coleman has to dampen your enthsiasm a bit about laying the -300 and change....

that and the rule changes for this card....rua`s stomps are pretty fricking nasty....

what`s it been?...8-9 months since the arm?...and i didn`t think he looked altogether sharp vs strinbean puncher diabate in his return...

still,i may have to take a chance and parlay this beast with something....what he did in pride total elimination was downright scary.....

quinton jackson/antonio rodrigo nogueira/overeem and arona......

downright impressive..

a parlay only,though...the injury makes me pause...and the rule changes ,imo, don`t benefit him(even though he will be free to use those elbows)...

imo, seeing whether the injury has residual effects on rua...and the villasanor/lawler and belfort/henderson bouts make this worth seeing.....the last two are toughies...

the wind took my cable out today...and it may not get fixed by fight time...

figures...

Hey Oddessa, I never had noticed the donation area. I made a donation but now I have no clue if I'll be able to view the donation feed. Do you know how I can verify that? Doesn't seem like anyone is home with them.

Going with

Parlay: for 1 unit
Fedor
Barnett
Nakamura

striaght:
Shogun Rua 2units (this is my big play, would be bigger play but worried rule changes hurt him)
Belfort .5unit
Villasenor .5unit
Nishijima .5unit(just because i don't like Baroni)

oh Lawd i agree 100 percent with all your comments. One thing i like about Lidel is his hatred towards Tito. this in my mind makes him train hard. Keeps him focus. the only thing i think that could be a little different is that Tito has that world class wrestler in his corner helping him a little more with his technique. Will it pay off. By the way Weasal i think i could take that world class wrestle in a boxing match. Man he needs to get out of the ufc while he can. His boxing skills are terrible. I think he jabs with his power hand. Its such a weak looking jab and his hands are so low. He is gonna eventually get killed.
