Curious about people's opinions for tonight - all i see is people siding with the Jets tonight from the "experts." They cite the coaching change, Rodgers ability as an underdog and how the Bills did great against bad competition and then not good the last two weeks. This feel a lot like yesterday when all the experts seemed to be on the Patriots because Houston had played a lot of close games. We all know what happened. I used this logic yesterday at 4pm to back Falcons at -9.5 as many were on Carolina for some reason.
So, what do we have tonight? Sure the Bills looked worse the past two week but one game was the Ravens, who are clearly one of the better NFL teams and could do no wrong that night. The Houston game last week was gift wrapped to them by an absolutely asinine coaching decision to throw three times from their own 1 yard line. If they had run once they could have run out the clock and certainly could have won in overtime. So, is playing to a tie against Houston a bad thing? Isn't Houston probably one of the better NFL teams? Does anyone rank the Jets on par with the Ravens and the Texans? I don't. Jets have a good D but it is not awesome. They shut down two horrible offenses. They gave up 32 to Niners, 23 to Vikings and even 17 to Will Levis. Now, Bill offense is not what it used to be, no doubt but i think they are better than Broncos, Patriots and Titans. They still scored over 30 twice and over 40 once, in just five games. The only variable that is undefinable is the coaching change and while I am sure it will be a long term good call, there is no guarantee everything suddenly clicks tonight.
Maybe I am crazy and given my performance yesterday in the NFL, i certainly could be completely wrong. I am leaning Bills TT over 19.5 or just taking the side straight up ML.
Thoughts?
