djv - I'm glad you hit... :) looks like you weren't the only one!

buckeye fan - sorry I didn't get back with you before kick off...but to answer your question it was sort of a contrarian play but not a real strong one because of all the defense problems both teams are having...it was based more on the last two meetings of these teams avg. 28 pts...the total came out high and didn't move too much...the big plays and a qb that just makes throws killed the over...if not for a big 1st qtr. I think the total would have stayed under...but anyways not trying to make any excuses...

Actually, I thought the game could have gone much higher. The Bears made some incredibly stupid play calls...in particular running the ball on 3rd and 2+ on more than one occasion, killing their own drives. They seemed intent on running the ball when the passing game seemed to be having some success and the running game wasn't. I don't know if that was just their lack of faith in their QB or just plain stubbornness. But I was really surprised at how badly they managed this game offensively.
