Colts er
Denver+3(3 units)I really think this game has the wrong team
favored:0074 ...Throw out the Falcons previous seasons as they have a new OC
& DC running things...
Manning vs Nolan,Nolan Is the Falcons New Defensive Coordinator this year..
Atlanta lost its best cornerback, Brent Grimes, to a torn Achilles
tendon last week. The Falcons had to shuffle the secondary in nickel
coverages with Asante Samuel on the left side, Dunta Robinson on the
right side and career reserve Christopher Owens in the middle.
As a defensive coordinator and head coach, Mike Nolan is 1-7 against quarterback Peyton Manning.
Nolan has been around, Defensive co. @ Balt, Jets, Denver,Skins, Giants and Miami,
On January 18, 2010 Mike Nolan and Josh McDaniels mutually decided
Nolan would resign as the defensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos
Mike Nolan was 18?37?0 as a head coach @ SF, I don't think he is any mastermind, Heck, he got fired by Josh McDaniels?:sadwave:
Nolan
hasn?t beaten a Manning-led offense since he was defensive coordinator
of the New York Jets in 2000.. .And I love this quote this week,
Nowadays, I think the really good quarterbacks play the game against
the coordinator as much as they do the players they?re going against.? BINGO!
Manning Cancels out home Field advantage,Noise will not effect him,Too much experience in games like this...
During
his four-year tenure as defensive coordinator in Jacksonville, Head
Coach Mike Smith went 3-7 against Manning....He is another guy I'm not
High On,I did bet Atlanta last week though but Mike Smith can make some
dumb decisions in battle..
Falcons also hired a New Offensive
Coordinator this year...Dirk Koetter from Jacksonville...We all Know how
Scary That jags offense was! The Falcons hired Koetter despite the
Jaguars ranking last in the league
in total offense and yards passing in 2011. Koetter's offense ranked
29th with its average of 15.2 points per game....wanna know why he was
hired? cause Him and Head Coach Smith are Buddies...I don't think Dirk
Koetter is a bust, he has won more games then lost as a col coach but
At Arizona State, Koetter had a 40?34 record, and 4 winning
seasons in 6 years.... At that time the Sun Devils was known for a
vertical passing attack BUT He held a 1?11 record against top 10 teams,
and
was 2?19 against ranked teams.
Denver Sacked Pittsburgh 5 times last week and should be able to pressure Ryan,Elvis Dumervil vs. Falcons LT Sam Baker: Dumervil, led the NFL in sacks with 17 in 2009, is
considered one of the better pass-rushers in the league, He ranks 3rd
in the NFL since 2006 in sacks per game (.69). He had 9.5 sacks last
season. Baker is coming back from two back surgeries last season and
will face a much stiffer test than in the KC Game.. So I figure Ryan will face pressure tonight...
For
the Broncos they too have a new defensive coordinator for 2012,Jack Del
Rio...Ill say this about Del Rio, I like him alot better as a
Coordinator then a head coach,he has put together some rough ass
defenses in his career,
In 2003, Del Rio became the second head coach of the Jags,
That
year, Jacksonville finished the season with the second-ranked rush
defense and sixth best overall defense, having ranked 25th and 20th in
those two categories, respectively, the year prior...before that he was
hired as Defensive Coordinator for the Panthers,in his 1st season, in
2002, he led them to the second best defense in the league....I have no
problems having faith in Del Rio vs Ryan Led Offense for the Falcons...
On
Offense Denver has a New Offensive Coordinator in Peyton
Manning(joking, not really though)...he will join Mike McCoy who enters
his 4th year as the Broncos? offensive coordinator ,This Mike McCoy is a
very underrated OC,he did a Fantastic job last year in getting a Tebow
led offense into the playoffs and winning one playoff game with Tebow!
Now that is saying something!!!! This guy to me is remarkable, has made
fantastic Pottery from Mud,He took Kyle Orton at Denver and he had highs
in virtually every passing category...Orton ranked fourth in the league
in passing yards per game that year! In a Chess match this game has 3
against 2 counting Manning which calls alot of Audibles,he is a coach on the field, and Atlanta's Coordinators are no match for these 3 guys!!!! :0002
