YTD: 1-1 (-$400)

This is the right place isn't it?:D

Rutgers - 20 (120/100) :D:....WINNER
...bought hook....have read about Columbia and how they are a good defensive team and still young and building, but gonna go with Rutgers here. Think they will win by 26.

Rutgers FH - 11.5 (110/100) :D:....WINNER
....should at least get out to a quick start

With four starters returning from last year's squad, the Scarlet Knights enter the season with a realistic shot at earning their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1991. Waters will again demand that his team play tenacious defense, and the offense will probably play a more up-tempo brand of ball. ........Scarlet Knights Report: Getting Inside

Anthony, don't be a hayta:D ....if you gotta jump on the side of the druglords of Columbia, that's ok. Can't always win.

Adding:

Stanford - 15 (360/300)....BIG LOSER
..bought hook....this line opened this morning at 17 at Oly and now down to 15.5. Not sure exactly why. Maybe lots of people thought it was B.C:shrug: I have to admit, the loss of Jacobson and Borchardt is gonna sting this year, but the Cardinal did have a pretty good recruiting class. Others will step up where need be and should handle B.U pretty well tonight.

STRENGTHS: The Cardinal's biggest edge is a familiarity with success. Everyone in this program is accustomed to winning, and standards won't be relaxed simply because a couple of big names bolted for the NBA. Josh Childress and Julius Barnes are explosive perimeter players - Cardinal Report-

UNC - 11 (120/100) :D:....WINNER
...bought hook...was hoping the line might go down a bit, but it hasn't budged (at least at OLY). Last year was dismal for the Tar Heels. Really wasn't much better for the Nitony lions, but they didn't have the expections that UNC has year in year out. 8-20 is not what anyone had in mind, and I think that we will see a huge turnaround this year. The Heels have a tough schedule from the start the season, but the question is, do they have the heart to face failure last year and play for success this year? I think we find out tonight, and I say yes.

PUHD-

Really really like that team total over 37 1st half. Heels look like they will be playing run and gun, relatively small but very quick and athletic lineup. Watch out for these freshman.

Saint,

Thanks for the input man. See you're from there. Would love to get your insights on them from time to time. They came out quick and strong, but can they hang for the game? Do they have the stamina? Early plays might be something to look at with this team. Drop by anytime. Would love to see what you have to say.

That late "comeback" by Penn state happened because the Heels went to a half court offense. That team was meant to run and is not very effective in the 1/2 court set. This will probably be what most teams try to do, slow them down into the set offense. Will be interesting to see as season bares down.

Good luck, will be in for most heels games.

Stanford getting manhandled on the defensive glass and then throwing up some ugly ass 3's in transistion. This BU team playing really well right now. My hat's off to them.

Thanks guys, but it's gonna be all for not if these Cardinal players don't stop throwing up these ugly 3's. Mike montgomery gonna get ahold of this at halftime and we'll see.

ADDING:

Stanford 2H - 10 ( 550/500)....LOSER

Down by 4 at halftime. Starting to play a little better. Montgomery will tell them to cut that quick 3 shit out and find a way to be more of a presence on the offensive glass. BU playing them well, but it's gonna change in 2H.

Good luck

Oh well, not gonna dwell on it. Move onto tomorrow. Congrats to those of you with winning days.

NIGHT: 4-2 (-$510)

There's always tomorrow. At least my boys from Stanford won, will take that over the money.

PUHD,nice call on Rutgers. The Lions are hurting this yr.
Many are saying that Rutgers might go to the NCAA's this yr.
They will win most of there games at the RAC.But they have no inside scoring.Wright and Axani are big bodies but they have no moves what so ever. They will score on some gd penetration dishes and put backs.
But in the BE there aren't many good post players.
Conn has Okafor,Georgetown has Wilson, and Nova has Frazier.Other then that there are no post players. They have tons of gds and pt gds.
Again nice job tonite
