I'd love to see what the number of deaths are that had preexisting conditions to start with....Then my question would be if those same 80,000 had caught the flu as opposed to Corona what would their outcome have been more likely than not...If the number is close to the same then why are we chasing our tails....
We've listen to the media stir shit up over and over, "we need more respirators", "we need more beds", "we need more tests" The media loves this are chair quarterbacking....F THEM!

Quit watching
I quit a month ago. One is as bad as the other. It's stupid.
I have no reason to believe that my state, Indiana, doesn't keep a decent record of what's going on with cases and deaths.
We have 1607 deaths. 91.2% are over the age of 60 and most of those deaths were probably people with pre-existing conditions. 50% of those were over 80. My age group 60-69 is 16.4%. I don't want to get the virus because I have a mild case of COPD but I think I would survive as I'm pretty healthy otherwise for 65. I don't want to gamble though so am taking major precautions.
Only 1.9% deaths under the age of 50 in Indiana.
I don't think we should be shut down because of the elderly are more at risk. The elderly need to take their precautions. If they need to work maybe they should be more relaxed with the over 60 crowd and let them work from home as much as possible and if they can't do that offer the ones that need help, help. It's stupid spending trillions of dollars sending the under 50 crowd all this money. Jesus Christ, will we ever dig out of this hole? How many trillions is it up to now?
I don't know anybody personally that died or even got the virus but I do know a shitload of people getting even more money than they usually earn and some that don't even need the money are using for gambling or luxury items or planning vacations. When they WANT to go back to work.
Just my opinion for what it's worth.
I swore I would stay out of these discussions and that's it, now I'm done.
