I'm still trying to figure out what happened to all the passengers on the cruise ships and war ship. I assume they all died? Guess I missed the follow-ups:shrug:

Yep, all perished. If you go back to work, you will perish as well. What a hoax. Never thought the media would take it's hatred of the orange man so far and deep. Please, everyone, get back to work. The hospitals are basically empty.

On the course!
Who is stopping you guys from living your life?

Go have a blast. Go to work. Go out to eat. If I was dead set that a hoax was being played on me, I certainly wouldn't let it get the best of me.

Remember when "the flu is worse than this", was your battle cry? Then, the hoax killed twice as many people in three months, than the flu does?

Now, I'm in the camp that we need to get back to regular life really soon. But to pretend nothing has been happening, or will continue to happen, is sheer ignorance.

Actually for many the Government is who is stopping them from "Living Life" but more importantly making a living. I am not in team Hoax as it pertains to this being real or not, but I will say the same thing I have been, the fear and selling of that fear has been much worse than the actual virus(This is where someone comes in and says "Tell that to the 70,000 dead").

I'd love to see what the number of deaths are that had preexisting conditions to start with....Then my question would be if those same 80,000 had caught the flu as opposed to Corona what would their outcome have been more likely than not...If the number is close to the same then why are we chasing our tails....

We've listen to the media stir shit up over and over, "we need more respirators", "we need more beds", "we need more tests" The media loves this armchair quarterbacking....F THEM!

Quit watching

I quit a month ago. One is as bad as the other. It's stupid.

I have no reason to believe that my state, Indiana, doesn't keep a decent record of what's going on with cases and deaths.

We have 1607 deaths. 91.2% are over the age of 60 and most of those deaths were probably people with pre-existing conditions. 50% of those were over 80. My age group 60-69 is 16.4%. I don't want to get the virus because I have a mild case of COPD but I think I would survive as I'm pretty healthy otherwise for 65. I don't want to gamble though so am taking major precautions.

Only 1.9% deaths under the age of 50 in Indiana.

I don't think we should be shut down because of the elderly are more at risk. The elderly need to take their precautions. If they need to work maybe they should be more relaxed with the over 60 crowd and let them work from home as much as possible and if they can't do that offer the ones that need help, help. It's stupid spending trillions of dollars sending the under 50 crowd all this money. Jesus Christ, will we ever dig out of this hole? How many trillions is it up to now?

I don't know anybody personally that died or even got the virus but I do know a shitload of people getting even more money than they usually earn and some that don't even need the money are using for gambling or luxury items or planning vacations. When they WANT to go back to work.

Just my opinion for what it's worth.

I swore I would stay out of these discussions and that's it, now I'm done.

90,000 so far.

Elon Musk told California to fuck off, and opened up. That's all people need to do. Look at the hair salon hero in Texas. If 150,000,000 people revolt, who will stop them?

Your government showed everyone how gullible they are when 9/11 happened. 20 years later, and we still take off our shoes, and throw out our water.

As long as people think Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Mitch McConnell, or Nancy Pelosi give a fuck about anyone but their rich cronies, we'll keep following their orders.

I do feel a lot better after I quit watching the news. Fuck it, I can't do anything about it anyway. Except do what I think is right for me. Watching CNN and Fox stressed me out.

I quit watching, too. I now just peek at daily numbers.

Duly noted 90,000 - Point remains the same.

You asked who was stopping people and I told you. Your answer is to say revolt and point out 2 business owners, like all workers can just tell their boss "Im coming in and you are paying regardless of what you say". Why is the answer not - Government should let people decide if they open and if people patronize them?

This isn't China. We ARE the government. Remember? "We the People"?

If your boss is stopping you from working, that's on your boss. He/she can open up tomorrow.

People bitch about the "government" non-stop, yet it always stays the same. How is that possible?

Why not?

One man stands no chance. The more who defy, the more the voice carries.

Telling people a walk is ok, but a walk in your yard while pushing a mower is against the law? Who are these people??

Sweet. Didn't realize businesses were free to do as they please regardless of the government:0008
