Thanks for the words yesterday. You know who you are so I won't spot-put. I can't stand summer olympics, anyways, save for the diamonds.

Finally a winning Sunday (0-1 last week...damn Yankees!)
Was some sweet miraculousness as I added to my yanks play, which looked like shit early, and also hit a 3-teamer (+820) with doggies jays, Reds and a's, all of which had to come from behind.
Not counting said mentioned above as wasn't posted.
(z'okay...not counting losing 1st5's on yanks and jays for same reason)
Not all was wet t-shirt time...dang Lakers cost me a 4-teamer at 17-to-1 (just needed W). Like 14 secs left, down by 1, and Kobe misses 2 free throws?!?!...dang overpaid flippin' future HOF'er!
Fade my totals, at least until I hit one.
(got a push...improvin'!)
Enough blathering on (1.95 pots of coffee will do that to me).

Cubs -145 2.9/2
---Dempster was great last season, is great vs brewers, was great in the spring and great in his 1st @Atlanta; Davis has been good vs Cubs, particularly at Wrigley, but nothing special this spring and poor in his first vs rockies; clincher for me here is cubs playing afternoon while brew-crew, possibly going to extras (known within 5 minutes), has to travel late for this early one Monday (no extras...still traveling late)
Phillies -1.5 -113 1.13/1
---Hamels has been very good vs--pretty good @ in his first, while Marquis has not, especially @Phil, and certainly in his first '010...shitty spring for him as well; no contest comparing sticks; nats were pounded often on the road '09.
Marlins -1.5 +151 0.66/1
---Flor. gettin' the sticks going and stay home while reds travel; Cueto had a crap spring, can't keep the ball in the park and appear heading towards washed up rather young; Nolasco heading in the opposite direction; of all 30 MLB teams, reds had the fewest 1-run losses on the road (i.e. 81.4% of their road losses were by multiple)
Giants -1.5 +132 1/1.32
---wish I could find R/L splits for runlines...let's put it this way, pitt was 17-42 away to R in '09 (.288) and 5-16 away to L (.238)...not a huge diff but they had worse offensive numbers (actually more offensive, depending on how the word is being used) against L all-'round, not to mention that the Giants were great at home '09 (39-22 vs R or .639), Zito has rejuvenated his career (incl. a beauty in his 1st @Houston) and Ohlendorf should not have made the team with the spring he had (total dogshit); I'm parlaying the moneyline when able (morning) so this will have to do for now; did I mention that pitt faces climate change (WW aren't we all ) after being disgraced Sunday in 'Zona while SF stays put after a satisfying come-from-behind win. Sorta sounds like doggie-style. Buy already, damn it, buy!!!
I'm going to submit before talkin' 'bout the Tigers and the rest of their league.
Never know if I might get kidnapped by Al-Kaline or whatever terrorists.
