7game road streak for the mets. Maine just came off the DL, this is start #2 for him. Start #1 was solid. However, Maholm has pitched well himself.

This is one tough game to play. I was thinking of just taking the UNDER8 myself.

Any thoughts?

mets note....With the Mets in a stretch of 23 consecutive games, Jose Reyes will get this afternoon's finale off after David Wright was rested for just the second time this season yesterday. Manuel said he felt Wright needed a breather, so Damion Easley got his first start at third base as a Met.

"I don't like taking days, but I think they're necessary at the end of August when you're playing 23 or 24 straight games," Wright said. "I'm sure this will help me have the kind of stretch run that I want to have."

I like it, Mets pen nice n rested if it comes into play shouldnt be any late inning blow ups here.
