Seattle +126
I know Seattle is ice cold but you can look at it both ways, they are due to win too.
I think Baek gives seattle a good shot today and with his history against texas I think he makes Seattle a good dog play today.
From the net:
Baek will make his season debut for the slumping Mariners in place of the injured Hernandez, and try to extend his dominance over Texas when the AL West rivals begin a two-game series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
The right-hander was 4-1 with a 3.61 ERA in six late-season starts last year for Seattle (5-9). Two of Baek's wins came against the Rangers and improved his career record against them to 3-0 with an 0.83 ERA. Baek's best outing last year came at home against the Rangers on Sept. 8 when he scattered four hits over seven innings, struck out three and didn't walk a batter in a 7-2 win.
The Mariners enter this contest having dropped a season-high six in a row to fall into last place in the division, but just two games behind co-leaders Oakland and the Los Angeles Angels.
Baek returns to the rotation while Hernandez misses two to three starts to recover from a muscle strain in his elbow that limited him to 24 pitches in a 5-4 loss to Minnesota on Wednesday. Hernandez faced only five batters, and was tagged for two hits, two walks and three runs.
Kevin Millwood (2-2, 4.91 ERA) will start the opener for the Rangers (8-10). He was on the losing end of a 6-0 defeat Wednesday night when Texas was no-hit by Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox
The right-hander has alternated wins and losses in his last five starts against the Mariners, and defeated them on April 13 in Seattle when he gave up a run and seven hits through six innings of a 5-2 win. Millwood also opposed Baek on Sept. 8, and took the loss.
