Iowa hasn't played a "spring game" in a few years now, Mark. The have an open practice and then a scrimmage at the end of the hour and a half that is open to the public. If the weather was good in the past, Iowa would get 20-25K to show up--you could bring beer in--this year the weather was horrible and they estimated 5K were there--I was planning on going but it snowed in the morning that day so we just partied at a buddy's house in Coralville instead. Supposed to be a real stud WR--he lit up the secondary during the scrimmage part of the practice--can't remember his name right now.
The B Ball team has a interesting recruit coming in next year--the guy did 4 years in prison for armed robbery and is 26 now. Hope it works out for both him and Iowa. GO HAWKS!
Thanks. I hear the off line is tuff--but some holes to fill at QB and def? Gong ot be tougher with Neb in the conf.
