Season to Date: 42-32-4 +12.24 units
Yesterday: 1-2 -3.4 units

Yesterday blew. Should have lost all the games as Portland over was never close and toronto over was even farther away. I almost feel dirty taking the bulls win. How they covered is beyond me and almost a disgrace to the sport of basketball being down 30 at one point in the 2h. So when they say all the "bad" beats even out at the end, I'll have to remember this one. Even though i still don't think they even out:rolleyes:

I am absolutely in love with two games today. Which could be a real good thing or real awful thing. I don't believe either of these lines are set at what they should be, and might be "trap" lines, and I'm gonna roll the dice and fade what I perceive to be a trap and play 2 max plays for me.

***Orlando +3 3 units(max play). Come on books, it isn't Christmas and you cannot tell me that home court means much in this game. Especially with a monday night football game in Florida. I'm not biting and I sure as hell aren't donating hopefully. I understand that O Neal is questionable, but come on, lets look at the numbers. Orlando has lost 12 in a row. They are 1-11-1 ATS. Indiana is steamrolling through the weak East and have compiled a 10-2 record going 8-4 ATS. New coach or not, Orlando was steamrolled by 30 their last time out and showed NOTHING. Meanwhile, Indiana went into what I consider the best team in the easts building in New Orleans and gritted out a win. Somebody find me some reason to bet Orlando. You can't. That's why I will. Sorry if none of you don't agree with this logic, but no way am I biting. Perhaps if this was Christmas day and I thought the books were being generous I would bite, but not today books. Enjoy all the money you will be getting on Indiana tonight, that way you have no problem paying me.

***Atlanta +2.5 3 units(max play). Once again, no thanks and I'm not biting. These teams have mirror records with Detroit 9-5 and Atlanta 5-9. Granted no Richard Hamilton or Elden Campbell for Detroit, but you can't tell me that this line would be Detroit -5 or so if it was in Detroit. Something stinks here and I'm not buying into it. Before the New Orleans debacle yesterday, Detroit was steamrolling along itself. And Atlanta pretty much just shows up and occassionally wins. Another contrarian play and I don't have too much more to say on it.

If I had bigger balls I would also play the moneyline on these teams as I feel each could obviously win or I wouldn't play em anyway, but I am a sucker for points. Both plays are just contrarian and as for matchups and stuff I'm throwing em out the door. I could easily get bit hard and lose both as nothing is ever for certain, but I'll take my chances on what I consider to be two stupid lines and I'm not biting.

Good Luck To All

EZ, knowing the NBA, your logic makes sense to me but that's not the reason I like Atl and Orl. Both are showing strong adv's and that's not the reason I like them. At least one will pull the line and I hope both. Good luck to us.
