Nothing early on the Grapefruit league. I will have at least a couple of leans - maybe a full play on one of the cactus league games. Back in a bit.

Monday

Chicago White Sox -120 This is nearly a full play so I am recording it as such. Keep in mind I don't trust the Cactus league quite as much since the ball flies out at will. Sox are going with their opening day lineup today. They also start Wright who is fighting for the 5th rotation spot and has looked good. Koch and Takatsu are also pitching. A's have Harden starting and he is coming off a slight injury so not sure how long or effective he will be. Nothing else on the A's so that is why it is technically not a full play but Sox still look good. Also the best relievers for the A's went yesterday so after Harden they should be weak.

Leans

Texas -110 Rangers have Calloway and Dickey who are fighting for a spot against a bunch of crap for San Diego. Also no Nevin. Just a small lean based on the garbage San Diego has going.

Colorado -120 This would be the stronger of the two leans. Rockies have Elarton who they really are counting on and has looked sharp. Wendell and Driskill also go and maybe an inning from Chacon. D'Backs have Johnson but he is not going more than 35 pitches or so. They are giving Sexson, Finley and Hillebrand the day off. That is the big edge here for the Rockies.
But it is Cactus league and I have to really be strong on a game to make a full play when so many runs are scored. But I like the Rockies here as a solid lean.

I remember last year great information on Cactus league games going great early and garbage late ruining things. The Giant game sticks out since it was the last play I had last year.

Looks good thomas......I had already locked in Texas and Chicago as plays....I didnt play Colorado, I didnt see the big edge, but I did play Florida.

Looks like we might get a total of about 5-6 innings from Beckett/Benitez. Dont know who else, but hopefully that will be enough

Ozzie Guillen is quoted in today's Chicago Tribune, "this year we came here to win as many games as we can and get the people excited back in Chicago".

Nice to know the team you're backing is motivated. I'm tailing on the Sox, good luck.

Sox have also bunted and used the hit and run this year already in an attempt to get the team pumped up, players seem to be buying into it.
