On Saturday night, SMU-7' (poor SU/ATS) vs. Nevada (very good SU/ATS) was in a similar ATS situation.

SMU won the game...

but did not cover.

SMU 77-74

well i'm up and thought i would try to find some info for this assignment--

of towson's 17 losses this yr, 16 are in double digits(lone one of course being against Hofstra at home)

from towson web site--
towson is attempting to stop an 11 game losing streak against Hofstra and avoid finishing last in their first year in the Colonial--

hofstra has 2 double digit wins all year and as has been mentioned, has lost 7 in a row..that is fishy--hostra starts 3 freshmen and plays 5 freshmen in the top 8 of its rotation??

will see what else i can sift through

Fwiw, seems that neither of these 2 teams play any kind of defense.

But Towson has shot "lights out" L 2 games.

30/59 = 50 %
29/69 = 43 %

Towson +13@Drexel..... 81-65 (W/W).....30/59..... 25/68

Towson+4 v JMAD... ......71-83 (L/L).........29/69.... 31/58 (53%!!)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hofstra is coming off a 3 G road trip and has played 6 of their L 8 on the road.

Hofstra's last SU win (8 games ago) was against Towson.

On 1/30, Hofstra-5 @ TOWSON won/loss, 62-60.

Towson shot 22/61..... Hofstra shot 24/52

Hofstra seems to shoot much better at home than they do on the road.
