Let's have another great week! Tonight has some marquee matchups. I've been dissecting and analysing all the games and I am not overwhelmed with many of the early games. However, there is one that I am going to act on because there are one too many factors coming into play. Might be going against the grain on some.

Samford/Furman Over 124 ** (2 Units)

The reason for this is because I feel both teams will be playing with urgency tonight. Furman coming home after losing two on the road will be fired up to get back in the win column. Freshman Reddick looks poised to continue to contribute and they have been shooting better as of late. Samford is in the same boat, but had to endure losing their coach last game to a seizure. This inspired them and they played with more determination afterwards and came back to win on the road. This is fresh in their minds and will play with more enthusiasm. Both teams should go after it tonight. Miller tried to suit up last game going thru the shootaround, but was still in some pain. I think he tries to play tonight. For all these reasons, I'm thinking a game in the low 130's could be in store.

I like some other games later, but will post in a bit once I have time to finalize them. Again, let's have another strong week. Thanks.

Good luck!

Best,
Kaiser

Thanks HiLo ... better late than never. I gotta get my plays in with the local each night by 7:30 and I have been trying to wait for your plays before I finalize mine cause you are on fire.

Thanks again and Good Luck!

Thanks to both you guys for the warm sentiments. We all try as cappers to see what others are either too blind to see, fixated on all the wrong things, or just are not astute enough on what to focus on in each game.

Lightning, I like some others, but need a little more time before I can put it out there as a confident pick. Sorry that you have to put in your picks as early as you do.

Hudson, I appreciate your post. I have been round for awhile. Years ago on another forum and even working for awhile thru a pay site that I collaborated with another couple guys. But MJ has the great energy and community I've always enjoyed.

Good luck to you too tonight! I'll be back in a little bit with another play or two.

Thanks again.

Best,
Kaiser

Damn everything was going how I thought until around the 7 and a half minute mark left in the game. From 7:45 to 4:31 NO points were scored. A drought of over 3 minutes destroyed the chance of going over. It also did not help that Miller did play. Since he obviously was noticeably out of sync and favoring his injury. They used him as a decoy and that did not work. Should have used those costly minutes on Dehm who was playing well. Then again the Paladins won, so who am I to second guess. Finished at 121, three points off the total. Those losses "sting." Did I mention they sting?

One more in the late game tonight:

Boise St/Idaho Under 146 *** (3 Units)

This is a game where both interstate rivals are searching for a win and that is even an understatement. It would be better characterized as A DESPERATE WIN. Both are severely struggling going a combined (1-12 in conference) and are the top two teams in the WAC in turning the ball over. I have a hard time seeing this game getting to that total when they both cannot sustain any type of fluidity. I would think Coach Verlin will be stressing more defense tonight at home and making Boise work hard for each and every shot. In any case both teams will be focused on shutting down open shots.

Good luck again to everyone!

Best,
Kaiser

Thanks goodness! This game was sooo ugly and went as wrong as a game could possibly go at the end for under backers. I almost couldn't believe what was happening in front of my eyes. A cover is a cover and this would have been like salt in the wound if it didn't.

Hope no one was downing pepto bismol watching that game like me with a wretched stomach. Maybe Docc was feeling it with me. The relief is starting to subside even though I still can't believe what happened. Going 1-1 tonight for another +1 unit.

Best,
Kaiser
