The clock is ticking as we get closer to conference tourneys and March Madness. Let's have another strong week and that starts with tonight guys.

I will say tonight's card looks demanding as your due diligence will really be put to the test. Good matchups, tough lines, and interesting shifts in momentum recently.

My numbers give me these:

Appalachian St -4.5 ** (2 Units)
I've made great money on the Mountaineers this year and I feel they are not respected enough. Appalachian St sits atop the conference with road wins at Wofford, W.Carolina, and Davidson. Three of the top teams in the Southern Conference. The other power team in the division, Charleston, only beat them by one point in a game that was defined in the closing seconds. They are so close to clinching the division and there talent level is too deep to be denied.

W.Virginia -1.5 (1st Half) ** (2 Units)
This will be a great game. UCONN has been playing much better as of late. Calhoun seems to have them clicking and believing in themselves again like it is a fresh new season. W.Virginia is trying to get one of the top seeds in the Big East tourney and as we all know that is beyond vital. Having to play one extra game in that conference is so much more taxing on the body and mentally it can just drain you. I think Huggins will have them focused and they should come out with a lot of intensity. There is no look ahead game as after tonight they have almost a full week off before playing again at home against Cincy. The reason the play for the 1st half rather than the entire game is because they come out of the gate strong and seem to be more determined early especially on the road. This season they have been up at the half ON THE ROAD 9 out of 12 times. I think the tenacity and wanting to jump on them early will translate into a lead. And rather than waiting an entire 40 minutes to see if UCONN figures them out and makes the necessary adjustments, I will play the quick start Mountaineers just for the 1st half and not take any additional chances.

Georgia Southern +9.5 * (1 Unit)
I am not playing this for very much at all, hence the 1 unit play, but feel Samford should not be giving this much chalk to anyone. They have struggled at home and on the road. With the exception of Chattanooga, they have been beyond mediocre. The Eagles however have stayed close in most games this year even against the upper echelon teams of the conference. So far this season they have played Wofford to 6, Davidson to 4, and Charleston to 9 while having straight up wins against W.Carolina, Appalachian St, Citadel, and Troy. Pretty impressive for a bottom of the standings squad. Just feel the spread is too big for a mediocre team like Samford to be getting. The only reason I do not have it higher is because Georgia Southern periodically gets down a little more on the road or I might be willing to do more.

Might play a 2nd half play if something looks good. Everyone have a great one tonight. Good luck!

Best,
Kaiser

Record:
147-117 (+55 Units)

Well that 1st half didnt go the way I thought. I still like the Mountaineers to keep this close and will come out better in the 2nd.

West Virginia -3.5 (2nd Half) ** (2 Units)
