UMass jsut beat Harvard by 3 or 4 and have won 4 or 5 in a row Albany just lost to American by 24. Mass at hom e and has Fernandez an outstanding pt gd. Danes defense will have trouble stopping the minutemen esp on the road and Umass continues its win streak And Albany deserves to get their butt beaten after firing will Brown their coach . Canes cannot score
San Diego St -16 over Troy ****
Watched Troy last year beat Tex St from row 1. Took my notes out. Troy had Odigie at the post who was 6'8 and big I liked Dell the 5'8 gd and now both are gone. Aztecs have Mensah at 6'10 inside Bradley who is probably the best player inMW conf and the new pt gd Trammell . Think Troy will have trouble scoring and trying to stop Mensah and co
Last night was at the Rice-Tex St game . I loved Rice +5 and they won and covered easily . Rice had Olivari who had 28 pts and never hit the rim on any shot He had to have 14 swishes . Talk about a player. Rice led from the jump ball I must have made another 3 or 4 live bets . Rice coach was dressed in black shirt black pants and had his collar buttoned He looked like a Priest or a monk coaching . But what ever he looked liked it worked . Tx St Harrell has lost everyone around hi, Rice did an outstanding job defending him even though he had 27 or 28 pionts The next Tex St scorers all had 7 or 8 or 9 pts
Love going to San Marcus and watching the game. Tx St had about 300 fans there Parked right in front of the staduim walked into the gym and sat right behind the bench .
