For now, gonna just ride my open teasers from yesterday which gives me:
6* BIG MEN + 8.5
arguments can be made for both sides tonight, as is very typical of a monday night with only one game. If I did not already have the above sizeable play, I would be playing the Giants on the ML (more value than just the 2-2.5 points IMO). I just read KC's analysis and he sums up quite well the thoughts I've had about this game all week. revenge, resmenge....a team must be capable of winning a revenge game and I do not believe the Vikings are. Of course they could prove me wrong, but if they do I do not believe they will blow out the Giants, hence my strategy of playing many teasers into the Giants tonight to give me the key number of + 8.5.
It all comes down to defense. Defense wins championships, defense wins games. Giants have the clear edge hear. Throw in a running game and a semi decent QB, and you've got my backing, especially as a dog. Bottom line is, if this game were in NY, I could easily see a repeat of last year championship game (yet NY would probably only be favored by 3 for MNF).
The total of 45 has me leaning under. I was gonna say not strong enough to play it, but thinking about it I can't make any case for playing the over. Somewhat just for the action, but a play for 1 unit nonetheless:
MNF UNDER 45
good luck tonight everyone and now lets see if I can come up with another 'winning' picture
