I have recently began posting on Madjacks mostly making submissions on NCAA, but I follow every sport in detail even hockey. With many games today, after doing some due diligence analysis these are the ones that strike me as strong plays.
Sixers -4
Philadelphia seems to have found its groove and is playing sound basketball against all opponents (subpar and elite). Returning home to play a team that has been so inconsistent I think looks very appealing. And when you couple that with the Mavericks track record on the road where they have not won in a month (4 losses) I really like this play. In fact their last road win a month ago was against the lowly Clippers and in their four straight road losses they lost by outcomes of 7,20,2,28.
Chicago/New York Over 210
This matchup seeks two of the more explosive Eastern conference offenses that have NO defense at all to accompany it. Both teams will push the ball and keep the tempo up in hopes of winning the game solely by outscoring the other.
Minnesota -6
I have been high on the T'Wolves for the past month. They have been the surprise team this year and now I think the rest of the league is seeing how good they can be and some arguments can say how good they have become. This team is dangerous and plays as such a cohesive group. They are so unselfish and everyone plays with enthusiasm. I think the Clippers are a team that has potential, but "THEY NEED TO BE HEALTHY." To make matters worse for the Clippers, Baron and Kaman are still out, but now Camby will not suit up today either. I just dont see how Thornton and Gordon can keep this game from being a double digit victory for Minnesota.
Phoenix/Boston Over 205
I like both of these teams to bring out the guns early and run with each other. What is nice about teams like the Celtics is they can mold their game to play multiple styles of play. They can slow down and play a low scoring defensive minded game and or they can push the ball and run with any team. This is why I like this game to go over. The Suns cannot play adequate defense, so they will try to score and score and score. Win or lose Phoenix has scored under 100 points just once in the past month and a half. Boston also prefers to keep the tempo faster rather than slower. You can see in their stats that when they hit the century mark they have gone an unbelievable 20-1.
Portland -6
I think the Trailblazers come out with authority tonight. They are returning home from their roadtrip going 2-2 and now will face the the hit-or-miss Bucks. Redd scares me and more times than not he single handedly keeps them in lots of games, but Portland plays great defense at home and as we all know the Rose Garden is a tough place for opponents to have success. The Trailblazers are 14-4 at home and I look for the return home to show up in the final score tonight.
Good luck to everyone! I like a couple others and might post them if I decide to play them.
Thanks!
