2-1 yesterday to top off a 5-1 weekend. unc-w only loser as seahawks collapse and uncharateristicly allow 50 pts to buckeyes in the second half. tarheels put up their first win vs but tech covers. for any who watched the game it was obvious that the carolina home-cookin' burners were turned up wide open as the zebras were determined that tarheels not open 0-4. tech was whistled for 33 fouls vs 15 for heels, resulting in a whopping 33-9 advantage at the free throw line and three jackets fouled out for crunch time. several times heels had uncalled reaching fouls that caused missed shots and turnovers by tech. this game played anywhere else and tech wins easily. look for tech revenge in atlanta.

murray state +2: line opened at +5 but still good value here on the racers. murray state returns four starters and stands 4-1 with lone loss to w ky. indiana state off to 1-4 start has scoring difficulties after losing two 1000 point scores to graduation, shooting only 37% for the year. usually strong sycamore homecourt evidently not so much this year as evidenced by 17 pt home loss to valpo, a team comparable to murry state.
miami o +1-: line moving in our favor here, probably on the news that center hedde and top scorer adam seitz return tonight for the 1-3 purple aces. however, don't expect this to make the difference tonight as both have been down with injuries for awhile and not likely to be at full effectiveness. seitz in particlar coming off broken bone in shooting hand will wear a brace and is still in pain. says coach, "i don't know how much they'll help tomorrow but they'll certainly help in the long run." redhawks 2-2, having played strong early schedule with wins over geo mason and wright state, losses to unc-w and xavier.
