ohio -10: the play is contingent on sonny johnson playing, assuming he will (i'm counting on you here hellah10) but no play if he is not. c mich a bad road team to start with now must hit third road trip in last nine days with heartbreaking home loss to ball st sandwiched in between. ohio the better team with strong home court in the better situation.

evidently the sun belt conference wants its top seed to make tourney finals as the advantage from seeding here is enormous. unless there was a gumbo cookoff in lakefront arena on saturday, no way quarterfinal games should be staggered with top seeds getting an extra day to rest and prepare. doesn't appear to me that line has been adjusted much at all to account for this significant advantage. i'll take this edge and play both favorites.
