3-3-1 on wednesday thanks to double play winner on e washington, outright winner as a ten point dog. overall record now 46-36, 4-0 on double plays. i did have a double play yesterday on wake forest, but got all wrapped up in the nfl and forgot to post it. did make mention of the play in box and one's thread yesterday, so hopefully most got down, but for purposes of record-keeping here it doesn't count. see some nice games for tonight:

tenn-chat -9 *double play*: i've given my kudos in these spaces many times on coach jeff lebo, who has made ol' loophole mucho dinero in years past @ tenn tech. i think he is primed to do the same in chattanooga. mocs just got big 6'7" sr forward michael townsend back when his eligibility was restored after exams. he responded with 9 pts, 9 rebs in 19 minutes vs milligan on saturday. furman's sr pg guilherme daluz is out with a sprained thumb until at least thursday. paladins have no one with comparable ballhandlng skills to replace him. pigkillin' looms on the horizon.
wofford +17: bigger game for scrappy wofford than the gamecocks. coach young's boys are well coached and play solid fundamental ball. usc leaves early tomorrow morning for a big five day western road trip to wyoming and col st. coach odom knows he needs his team well rested for back-to-back road games at altitude after 2000 miles of travel, and has already hinted that he wants to give some playing time tonight to freshmen morrison and kinsey. absolutely no incentive for the 'cocks to blow out wofford, and every reason to back it down.
