This is just a warmup for the Tournament Series starting in about 2 weeks.

We had this years ago at pokerstars and it was successful and a lot of fun.

A series of weekly tournaments over a 12 week period.

I'm talking $10 buyin weekly. Points are awarded to the top 3 finishers each week. The ones with the most points after the 12 weeks go to a final table. The final table will have great prizes.

There will be additional prizes weekly for busting certain players, etc. A fun thing.

The worst that could happen is you lose $120 over a 12 week period. If you go 12 weeks playing a weekly poker tournament and don't finish in the money a few times, YOU SUCK! :facepalm:

Let's get 50, 60, 70, 100 players and have a big prize pool at the end.

You know Jack you are going to scare everyone away if you keep winning at this rate. then again it just may be good for the game. Sad to say that attendance is declining though hopefully it will pick up when you start the series.

I'm thinking attendance is weaker on the weekends? Not sure. Mother's Day? I know the prizes won't be what I envisioned if we only have 20 some as opposed to 60 for the series.

I remember one hand where I was the clear leader after the flop but became a big dog after the turn and I sucked out on the river. Yeah, I remember that one. I think I sucked out on Deb once when it was heads up.
