La-Laf -1.5 over Naw leans.
Laf plays full ct man/man defense.Has a big win over NmSt on the road and is coming on strong in the Sun belt.They have won 4 str.with 6'10 southall dominating the paint.In his last couple of games he's avg over 20 pts 15 bds and 6 blocks a game.he already is one of the top FG% in the nation.Johnson could be the SBC POY.He does everything from inside and outside.Robbins also in the paint which rounds out the best frontline in the SBC.
NO is lead by Romero a D-D man avg 20 pts and 11 bds.He also is a great FG& shooter.But his cast around him aren't as talented.UNO has already lost 4 games at home.
Laf 2 weeks ago mishandled NO and beat them 102-78.And the last 2 times the raguns visited NO they won by 13 and 16.
Game should be closer tonite but Laf should win by at least 5 or more pts.Rebounding is the key.And caguns have 3 guys that go to the bds.
Memphis -14.5 over Tulane.
In conf USA Memphis in about 8 catogories is ranked 1st or 2nd and Tulane 11th or 12th.But they are split among defense and off.The rebounding is the biggest disparity.Esp on the off. bds.
Memphis should dominate from the opening tap.Wise and Massie could get 8 pts each just on put backs.On offense Memphis is explosive with wagner and co.Defense is one of the best in FG%,margin,etc,etc.
Tulane did play great vs Marquette the other day and did beat So Miss.But this team their going against tonite has way to many greyhounds.
Tulane is 6-2 ats away but Memphis is 9-4 ats home.But the last 3 times the wave came to Memphis they lost by 27,28 and 14.Wave has played well vs good teams and been blow away by weak teams.Tonite they run into a buzzsaw.
James Madison -5.5 over Mary.mary on the road is 1-9.James just got their butts beaten by George.[mason]Mary just beat ODU.ie.
But fanning is to much for mary to stop.Mary can't score but James can at home.
West Vir +14 vs Cuse or Cuse -14 over WV.
A game everyone should really pass on.WV has lost 10 of 11.Cuse 4 of 5.Cuse has no inside game what so ever.so williams,shumpert,Duaney and other all hoist them from the outside.It's simple.If their hot they blowout WV.If their not and Moss and co. can rebound they have a shot.hargett can't shoot but loves to gun the ball.Armstead just got his 1,000 pts the other nite.Their coach is gone.But they lost a tough one to G-town the other day on the road.Cuse already beat WV by 10 in the mountains.surely they should get 4 more pts playing at home.But Boe has internal problems with McNeil his only widebody tranferring.And Boe only plays 6 or 7 guys so they have to be tired.But WV pt gd backup hewiit is out tonite so if hargett gets hurt they are in deep trouble.
Not sure which way to go in this game.Cuse is 8-4 ats at home.but WV did beat Pitt and Tenn away.......
