Kansas -5 over Texas.
An offensive team that can kill you from the outside or inside.Texas defense is avg.At home they have given up 78 pts to baylor,80 Tex-AM,85 OU,and 2 days ago 90 to Colorado.Thats a lot of pts.Kansas comes in as the B-12 leader in almost every off. catogory.Texas offense is avg but still has trouble hitting a jumper.Kansas defense is OK but should be able to contain TJ and co.
UNC-Wilmington pk over G.Mason.
Team has won 7 road games,6 of last 7 overall.Most talented team in Col. conf.Callahan inside playing great.Blizzard is the best shooter in the conf.But this teams plays great defense.In recent games in conf they are giving up 51,54,48,and 56 pts.Mason is tough at home,8-2.But their top player is still out in Tarver.Seahawks win one on the road.
La-Laf pk over my alma mater North texas
Denton will be rock'in tonite.Game is on Fox-TV in the southwest.NT is still upset about the ending of their last game vs La.Laf. They blew NT off the court 96-78,but the game ended with Johnson who had 33 pts getting 2 break away dunks and Southill slamming one at the buzzer.Some bad memories for NT players.
So with a pretty big crowd,the so called revenge factor,and Davis as their stud I still see laf winning this one.
NT has problems vs.big men.They have no post defense.If you go back and look at their losses its always to a team with a dominate center.And he has a big game vs. them.Just the other nite vs.Naw leans.Romero dominated.Southill in their last game had 26 pts,16 bds,and 8 blocked shots.Boyd had 17 assits and Johnson was unstopable.
NT had problems the other nite vs So. Bama.They won by 4 but had 22 TO's.Laf in their last 7 games have held down teams shooting FG% to under 40.
Davis who has had big games vs Laf is 7th in the nation in scoring.But NT's pt gd tonite Green is listed as questionable.Hurt his ankle.he had 15 pts vs bama the other nite.Replacing him could be a big problem.White or Rodgers are big drop offs.
Think this game will be close.No way Laf comes in here and blows them out but think they will win by 4 or 5 pts.
Rutgers-St peters
Have to pass on this one.Rutgers could do what the Johnnies did to fairfield the other day.The line is 19.Peter on the road is 6-3 ats.This could be backdoor cover when walters empties his bench.Or Walters could run it up.would love to see RU's Kent 6'6 260 go up against peter's McQueen 6'6 290.maybe a lean towards Rutgers.
Conn-Nova-passing to.Not sure who shows up.maybe a lean towards Conn since Nova could be still celebrating.Conn beat them by 5 at Nova.Gorden and Butler sure make a nice combo.Nova had 6 TO's the other day because UCLA never pressed.Well Conn will press because only snowden can dribble.
Marist -13.5 over canisius
Capped this game but will pass.Marist is playing the best b-ball in the east.kennedy is just shy of his 1,000 pt.His partner Smith just got his.marist lost at canisius on a last second 3 pt shot.since that shot marist has been on fire.They have won 5 str and are tied for 1st place.The griffs just upset manhattan the other day.Dux hit a 10 ft hook shot to win the game.When is the last time you saw someone take a hook shot.This series has been close except for once.I'll pass because the line should be 10 or 11.But I'm scared to bet against the Foxes here.
Like Drexal -5 and Utah -1 for small plays.
