Texas AM -14 over UL Monroe **
UL had 2 players last yr that were solid and could score Smith and Munnings who avg 21 and 17 pts..both are gone ..Ertel and Williams are the only 2 returning players ..they added a juco player but their MO was a poor shooting teams and weak defense...meanwhile AM hired Buzz Williams from VT who is a no nonsense coach...a great hire for them...his teams play tough defense and will scramble for all loose balls..it might take a few games for the Aggies to realize they have one of the best coaches around.once he gets his recruiting down...theyt di have a stud in 6'7 Flagg who can score,rebound and pass...he did bring in one of the top 10 juco's players in the country in Jackson...the big question is 6'9 Nebo who is not hurt hasn't played yet not sure why...he s their top shot blocker... think UL will have trouble in the paint with Aggies size and athleticism and think defense could slow down the avg Warhawks offense...
have been doing college football ..didn't post the the other day and won with Texas +8 over Purdue and had another win but lost 2 also...so not feeling it yet in hoops yet..need another week or two...
