Reds made me sweat a bit with some late fireworks but game 1 stayed under the total of 8 finishing 4-3. Sox bats took a while to wake up but when they did they scored 7 in the 7th to cruise to an easy 9-2 win and give me the sweep on the day.
Tribe/Red Legs under 4.5 1st 5 -135.
Bought the half run for insurance @5dimes but don?t think it?s needed. Both teams not scoring runs right now and both starters pitching well. Game under is a popular pick here at Jacks which is concerning, but I like the starters to pitch well and I?ll skip leaving it up to the pens by playing the first 5 total.
Braves +113.
Gotta take a shot with the hot home team vs a struggling Mets squad even with DeGrom on the bump. I?m getting + money with a 7-3 squad vs a 3-7 team that?s lost 5 straight. Very tough sweeping a 4 game set, but when you?re struggling like the Mets are it?s the Braves or nothing here.
Pale Hose/Brew Crew Under 9.5 -105.
More a wager on the Crew not have played in a week than anything else. Sox bats have been hot and Rodon got rocked against the Tribe last time on the hill but I expect a focused Crew pitching staff to keep this Sox team from busting out like they did over the weekend against the Royals.
