The Cinn/ ECU game is a game of unknown's. 2 team's that are not very good. So what do we know? Athletic Director, Mike Hamrick at ECU is highly motivated and has alway's had a commitment to winning, nothing is more apparent to that in his hiring of John Thompson as new head coach. I have watched Thompson in action live and he is to say the least "intense". He has a decent returning offense, the defense was the downside last year. He is a defensive specialist and generally his defensive team's gel rather quickly. I look for a conservative game plan from ECU and I think they will keep this game competetive, also, they have an excellent punter which will pay huge dividend's today.I think that will allow them to play the field position game I don't have alot of confidence they can win,but I do think they can stay with-in the number.
