Won my posted POD yesterday with Washington +16. My new win streak is at 1. Based on my previously-outlined money management style, tonight's play is for 1.5 units. Staying with the double digit dogs:

St. Mary's +10.5

Last year St. Mary's was everyone's fade, this year they've got a better team and the linesmakers seem not to have figured it out yet. The Gaels are 6-1 ATS in their L7 and 8-2 for the season.

While the Utah is 9-3 and has won their last six, the Utes are not the same team without 6-10 C Chris Burgess lost to a foot injury in their win over Texas. Burgess was the teams leading rebounder (7.2 rpg) and second leading scorer (13.2 ppg)

Utah escaped with a 63-57 win over Division 3 Whitworth last Wednesday and were outrebounded 28-18 (only 18 rebounds vs Whitworth????)

Without Majerus, clearly Coach Majerus has line-up problems.

With Burgess expected to be out for several weeks, Majerus has to solve the center rotation. Sophomore Lance Allred started for the first time Wednesday but played 15 minutes, including only five in the second half.

Cameron Koford, who began the season as Burgess' backup, did not play for the fourth game. Majerus prefers to bring Phil Cullen off the bench.

Backup point guard also is a concern. Freshman Martin Osimani, signed to spell Travis Spivey, looks lost. In less than two minutes against Whitworth, he committed two turnovers and was quickly yanked. If Spivey, who has been bothered by a sore back, does not play, Eric Osmundson is expected to start.

In their last three, St. Mary's has covered at Colorado and New Mexico, so I'll take the 10.5 points when they're at home.

I absolutely agree with you. I love St Marys +10.5 too. Without Burgess Utah awaits hard job.

Unicorn -- Sorry, I meant Washington State, below is yesterday's post.

I'm back after yesterdays disastor and I'm going back to my winning formula of big dogs:
Washington State +16

WSU lost big to USC twice but the Trojans own Washington State. I think they'll stick closer to the Bruins.

Until UCLA proves they can cover I'm going against them.
