Picked up a win last night. IMO I think this is gonna be a lllloooonnnggg year for Gibbs and the 'skins. New OC is from KC...I think that's a major reason brought in Collins (I guess he told Brunnell that it takes about a year to get comfortable with Offense.) I think he also failed to mention its doesn't hurt to have a Holmes and Johnson as RB either. (LN: 24 carries for 30yds :scared ) Portis now banged up w/seperated shoulder. I think I'll be fading the 'skins the rest of the pre-season.
Tonight, I like "Tha Ray-dars" (+3)...(geez realized its hard to write in Berman's accent :142smilie )
Anyway couple of reasons for this selection...1) a game under their belt. 2) expect the starters to see a little more action. 3) New HC Childress tryin' to make the Norsemen into the Buc's of the north. Implementing both Off and Def from Tampa. 4) Childress is no Gruden, and if I'm not mistaken...TB hasn't done much since winnin' the SB. QB Johnson maybe comfortable, but at 37 don't see him being durable for an entire season.
And as far as the total goes (36) I'm leanin' toward the under. Still not impressed with Brooks and don't look for Minny to score that much in first game out.
