I am from Pittsburgh and I am a huge fan and I really know my hockey. Not to toot my own horn or anything.

Anyways, I saw that the Isles were -120 at about 2pm yesterday afternoon. I never expected the line to go down at all in this situation. Pens played yesterday at 330pm. Finished at 615pm. Interviews, travel, etc.. get to NY at midnight/1am ish!!

But the drops and the Pens are on -115. I was considering hammering the Isles today b/c I figured the fatigue and the Isles waiting were be huge factors. I thought this would be a bad spot for the Guins!!

It always seems like when a team travels and their tired the inclination is to play the rested team, and I would say 80% of the time the rested team seems to lose. I don't have actual stats to back that up, but that's just what it seems like,

Also I show 65% on the pens, which could be the reason the line dropped.

I ended up going with the pens, man up 3-1 early 2nd period, then 3 straight goals by Isles. Just like in the 1st period, a 5-3 man advantage at the end of the period results in the tying goal for the pens. 4-4 now, headed into the 3rd.

They only travelled about an hour flight and they will be a bit more rested than if they played a night game last night. They probably got into New York by 10pm and got a good rest. This team is so pumped and enthusiastic right now I would almost eliminate a "tired" factor for them. I'm riding them 'till they come down off this high...if they ever do. They are becoming a serious contender. I'm taking the Pens here!!
