white sox - 217 x 5

hated floyd to start the season, but it's not like the tigers have any pride and he's definitely proved me wrong. they have zero desire to have to come to chicago. you can say they might get up to play in this spot but if there was ever a bigger bunch of underachievers and quitters its the tigers.

garcia is married to ozzies cousin, and well there might be some family funny business.

regardless, sox get the win and probably lose on tuesday to the twinkies.

I'm seeing a line of -230. Floyd has been getting rocked his past couple starts. Tough to lay this kind of vig. I would consider RL @ -120 maybe. Just can't lay -230.

opened at -214 at pinny

hopped on then

if i can freeroll tomorrow for a plus i might and sit and enjoy the game.

anyone but the tigers i wouldn't be so inclined. they just really are a bunch of mopes. i also don't trust the bats of the sox enough and rainy day might mean some bullpens going at it. sox will use anyone including starters, tigers will probably just use their bad pen.

Going contrarian and playing Tigers +210 for 2.5*

To win 5* on White Sox, I would need to lay 11.5*. I could see the Tigers winning as they played good against Tampa Bay and Garcia might throw well. He looked good in his initial start. Just too much value to pass on the Tigers IMO.

At least one of us will be happy and it's probably you.

Heard off ESPN overnight something about Leland shit canning the pitching coach and the bullpen coach. The organization also gave the wink wink to a couple of players that will definitely be staying and even told them what positions they have them slated for next year. This means some other players can see the writing on the wall. A couple of starting players will be out for Detroit. If my memory serves, Garcia has had a lot of success in day games. He is also auditioning for the rest of the league for a gig next season. WSox got to get 5 off some very easy pitching yesterday. With Freddy and Floyd on the mound, some disinterested Detroit bats, some new Detroit bats, and the old WSox war horses facing their old bud, I played Under (5-) the 1st 5. They will wait till it snows if they have to to get this one in.

BTW

I though Leland was the greatest thing since sliced bread? :sadwave:

It's pouring at the stadium right now. Doubt they get it started before 3 cst, if not later.

IO, thanks for the update, keep us informed. I don't think this delay is helping my lean on Detroit. They must want to get the fuk home by now. Maybe I'll just pass.
