See enough advantages for the Gophers to make this a play.

Richmond had its last game delayed due to weather in Montana. The Spiders had to wait until Saturday to play Montana St. This leaves Richmond with no real practice time for the Gophers, needing to travel yesterday. Minnesota last played on Wednesday, a 96-62 rout against New Mexico.

Minnesota has notoriously been a tough team to play at home over the years. This year is no exception. This year the Gophers are 15-3 SU and 11-3 ATS. The Spiders are 7-8 SU and 7-7 ATS on the road.

Richmond also has matchup problems being undersized. The Gophers have two front court players at 6'10" and can score. Their backcourt includes Bennett at 6'7". Rickert, Holman, and Bennett should have success tonight being much taller and decent shooters.

The taller advantage carries over in rebounding. Gophers are +4.8 in rebounds in a tougher BIG 10 Conference. The Spiders have a -10.0 disadvantage in rebounds on the road.

On offense, Gophers avg 80.9 ppg at home vs Richmond 59.5 pts on the road. Minnesota also enjoys a 6.4% advantage at the free throw line.

Also favor both overs and Syracuse, but probably no plays on those.
