Well, here we go again. I feel like I'm going against the board on this one. We have 2 average teams that both are in the playoff hunt. Pretty sad that a 4-7 team (Dallas) actually has a chance, but I guess that is just the NFL for you.

Although Dallas's win came against a horrible Chicago team, it was good to see thier running game actually make a difference. Julius Jones could be the guy of the future. Thier defense even made some plays. Again, I understand that it against a banged up offense, but sometimes, this kind of thing can really be the spark that gets the team going.

Seattle got off to a great start but then fell apart after that come back from the Rams. Since then, they've been up and down. Looking at thier wins, I'm not too impressed by who they beat up on. They may beat Dallas, but spotting them 7 points is a little much. Only thing I would give them would be the home field advantage. Other than that, I think they are playing at an equal level.

If you want an easy winner, fade my plays.

Dallas +7 (4 Units)
OVER 42.5 (4 Units)

College 7-4 +1.40 (Thurs/Sat)
NFL 9-6-1 +6.30 (before MNF)

Thanks 60! :)

5-0 for +18 units in one night? :thumb: You gotta be kidding me? I guess Seattle reallly was as bad as I thought they were. I'm just glad to see what Dallas can do. Jones is the RB that we needed and although the D gave up big plays, they also created turnovers that they haven't done all year up until last week.

College 7-4 +1.40
NFL 14-6-1 +24.30

Being from Dallas.....if you had inside info on that game you should have shared it with us!!! Rumors buzzing around MJ's right now that you, Tuna, and Jerry are very tight :142lmao:

Congrats on a great night bk. I'll be watching for your next Cowboy play :)

Julius looked awesome! Gave us a preview in the Bear game and then let it all out last night. Surely an asset to the team. I had him on my fantasy early before the injury......wish I had him back :)

This only the second time the Boys have actually won for me (first time was last week). They killed me on the Ravens, Eagles and Bengals. After last night, I think I will be a little cautious. Could be a let down against the Saints. They have been in a real rut and are bound to have a blowout soon.

Hi All ~

First I'd like to ask is this the Forum that I would use to generally talk about the NFL or is this simply another handicapping forum where you discuss point spreads? If this is not the forum to talk NFL, what forum do I use for that?

I am and have been a Cowboy's follower since Roger was throwing the ball. And although it's been a roller-coaster ride with this team over the years, I just can't seem to ignore them and what's the next stupid idea(s) they are trying to implement.

As for Monday night's game ... even though I was obviously excited about the win, I will admit that my team actually didn't technically win that game.
The Defensive Co-ordinator in the booth for Seattle should have challenged the Keyshawn TD because on review the Officials would have seen that Keyshawn was actually out of bounds on the catch. But it's not like this is the only time a team got robbed on a play. The Officials generally do a great job as best as they can and it is unreal to think that they will catch every single little infraction. Heck, if they were able to catch every foul, every play would get a Flag.
So with that, Dallas pulls to 5-7 and they keep their hopes alive. I am cautiously hopeful that they get the WC (wild card) but I am also realistic that considering the way this team is playing, that WC will not amount to much because like last year when they were playing much better ball, they went down after the first playoff game.

J. Jones is getting everybody excited but one guy can not carry a team. Think of the 1992 Dallas Team .. with a lineup of Stars like:
Troy Aikman (QB) - Tommie Agee (FB) - Charles Haley (DE) - Emmit Smith (RB) - Michael Irvin (WR) - Jay (goto) Novacek (TE) - Ken Norton (LB) - Nate Newton (G) - Leon Lett (DE) - Alvin Harper (WR) and a host of others that all made that team the best in the league.
Besides Julius Jones and Jason Witten, this team is below adverage at best. This is not a team that will get deep into the playoffs. And you don't win Super Bowls by hoping the other team is too banged up to play at their best.

Harley, great points. Cowboys should have lost anyway. I knew in the 3rd that they would not put the game away. However, I didn't think that in 2 plays Seattle would score and make it a close game. Win or lose, I'm glad to see 1 draft pick actually show signs that they can play.

Before Monday night's game, I predicted Dallas ending the regular season at 6-10, winning only against Washington & New Orleans. I also extended that prediction to include that if Drew started in either of those games Dallas would end the regular season at 5-11.

I'm still convinced that they will pull off the win against those teams but now it appears that they will end at 7-9. And to think Parcells wanted nothing less than a 500 season.
