Had to go back to work today and earn some $$$ for the man. I am black and blue all over from the beating I took this weekend during the 1st and 2nd rounds of this "MADNESS". Has to get better this week, I hope.
Anyway, 10-13-3 overall and 2-7 w/Best Bets in the 6 days of tournament action.
NIT
MINNESOTA -9.5(Best Bet)
BUTLER +2
Minnesota-Two key factors in this match-up:1.)Size; 2.)Rest. The Golden Gophers have a huge size advantage over the Spiders. Richmond played a game Saturday night and then had to travel on Sunday for tonight's game leaving them very little time to prepare. Minnesota last played on 03/13/02(last Wednesday) so they will have fresh legs. I think that Minnesota will jump out to a big lead early and make the Spiders play catch-up. Richmond not really known for it's ability to score points so I do not think that they will be able to come back point or stamina wise. Golden Gophers should cover the 9.5 points.
Butler-Did you know that Butler has a 14-2 record on the road this year? Still do not know why they did not recieve an "At-Large Bid" to the tournament. The Orangemen have already lost 6 games on their home this season which to say the least has been a disappointment. I think that Butler will be playing with something to prove while the Orangemen will play just to get this season over with. Butler 64 Syracuse 57.
Posted a play I really like in the NBA in the other forum. As always, GLTA!!!
