We have 2 teams going in opposite directions here and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this situation for the Red Wings.
Detroit fresh off several big free agent acquisitions this summer is off to their best start in several years. They lead the NHL with 16 point (8-1), while Dal has 9 points (3-3-2-1). Dal on the road is 0-2-1, while Det at home is 5-1-0.

Det over the years has a great record at home against Dallas and I have seen both teams play and Dal has not shown me anything this year yet, Det on the other hand has really impressed me. With solid goaltending, great defensive play, and scoring power up front, I am very confident that they will prevail and dominate the Stars.
Det's speed will just be too much for Dallas to handle and look for Detroit to hit them hard in the first period, and throughout the game. Detroit folks will take it to Dallas and look for them to rock tonight and bring home the bacon$$$
