I usually don't look at the moneyline, but I just happened to see the UL-Lafayette/Miss. line. That site has UL-Laf. at +27 and the ML at +2000. A couple of years ago, a poster here bet on an underdog getting 28 points but he claimed he also had a ML play at +4600, which he won! Where in the world do some of you get such ridiculous odds??? Are there certain sites and/or casino sportsbooks that give these super odds that I'm not aware of, or was that poster just exaggerating about the odds he was getting?

More variables than just the spread. Could definitely be B.S. if you didn't see the ticket, but there is a big difference in a 28 point spread if the total is 63 and when it's 37. +4600 implies a 2.13% probability of winning where +2250 implies 4.26%. So not out of the realm of the possible, but somebody I'm sure has some scary database that could tell you exactly which book and on what date.
