Cincy -11 over Monmouth ***
Hawks are 5-0 knocking off Princeton and St Joes ..lost to Charlotte . Cincy with its 6'11 Lakhin and 3 solid gds back from last years disappointing season will present a defensive problem for the Hawks. Dujulius,Saunders and Woods can all score and share the ball . Monmouth post defense in the paint will have problems rebounding and making stops . But Cinciny who fired their coach last year hired Miller who every year won 20 plus games or more at UNC Greenboro . This is his 1st full year and although Cincy is always a pre-season favorite to win their conf they had some kids transfer out of their program . Its is rebuilding .. nope I call it reloading With the 3 gds Dejuloius,Davenport and Saunders attacking and the 6'11 Russian blocking shots and altering them think Cinciny might have trouble in their conference but not against Monmouth . One thing though Don;t put Monmouth on the line . Everyone including the ball boy shoots 85% from the FT line. Papas is trying to replace Hammonds who led Monmouth year after year. I still say the best player in the gym today is King Rice who is the head coach and his asst JR Reid. Not sure what the transfer portal " grandfather clause " rules are but think both played in the NBA and the NCAA will let them sell there North Carolina jerseys but not allow them to suit up back later with a few more
