coach dooley is gone from greenville, replaced by mike schwartz, who was an assistant under rick barnes at tennessee and acted as defensive coordinator. under his guidance, vols stayed at the top of the sec in defense, as well as among the national leaders. he pretty much has to start from scratch, as the pirates lost most of their players and scoring from last years squad. it seems like it would be a lot to ask his first team to put up a lot of points right out of the gate. meanwhile, mercer returns a lot of the same team from last year that averaged 70 ppg, and less on the road. this game has a feel where the winner puts up somewhere in the mid to low 60s in a tight game.
