munoz vs. perez

munoz has had only one appearance this year, and it was so-so, as he allowed 2 er in 5.2 innings, but a whopping 12 between hits/bb, much too high, and suggesting the era could have been a lot higher than 3.18.

perez on the other hand, appears like an easy read, as we could expect app. 5 innings from him and allowing 3-5 runs. surely the coaching staff is ready for 4 innings of relief work here.

to sum it up, i would expect both pitchers to give up 3-5 in about 5 innings, always with the hope that munoz can do what perez has not in quite a while, which is to throw a decent game.

the game appears to be slightly overvalued at -180. in my view it should be in the -140/130 area, including home advantage.

montreal + 165.

i just got the whole story. here we are waiting for perez to give up a few and he gets taken out and relievers put montreal away.

another good reason for not laying heavy wood on anybody. you just can't predict the unpredictable.
