Vladimir Guerrero RF Suspended Elig Apr 3
March 17, 2003 -- Montreal Expos' All-Star outfielder, Vladimir Guerrero was suspended for three games and Florida Marlins pitcher Brad Penny was suspended for five games for their roles in a bench-clearing brawl last week.
Guerrero and Penny were also fined by baseball's vice president for on-field operations, Bob Watson.
The suspensions for Guerrero and Penny are scheduled to start on opening day
