I know you are a concerned citizen but please... how do you know about acorn ? the same way I do... they were around before obama and will be after ... mccain praised this organization.... don't you think cheney/bush put more dents in our system of government ? even liberal cnn & msnbc are talking about acorn.... what do you think about all the elections all over this country, st, local and federal that have questions ..... this is just another example of fake/partisan outrage that happens on both sides, all the time... do you care about democracy and free elections or just elections that don't go your way ?? funny how some on the right are concerned about fair elections now... I wounder why ? take a look at my thread on fair elections.... the key to joe the plumber is the redistribution of wealth..... how do you like the way it has been redistributed the last 8 yrs ? I guess when government redistributes wealth to the wealthy and corporations like they did under bush/cheney, that's OK ! What do you think the fight is about ? don't let them fool you... it's not about school choice & prayer ; THEY DON'T WANT YOUR KID TO READ... it's not about abortion, the rich get theirs no matter what...... if they cared about life, they would send Americans to die in iraq.... it's not princeple or patriotism or taking care of our troops...... It's about how much, those in power are willing to let working America keep what they work for !!! ! If the republicans are realy for joe the plumbers, they haven't shown it the last 8yrs.......Now we are hearing from the BIG THINKERS ON THE RIGHT, IT WASN'T WALL ST OR THE BANKERS....IT WASN'T THE PEOPLE WITH POWER AND MONEY IN WASHINGTON... NO..... IT WAS THE POOR PEOPLE THAT COULDN'T PAY THEIR HOME LOANS THAT MADE THIS MESS !!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: IT WAS COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS LIKE ACORN THAT PUT PRESSURE ON THE SYSTEM TO BE NICE TO THE POOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE US IN THIS MESS.... PLEASE !!!! With all the SHIT we are in, one thing never changes... The rich still get paid ! It's about getting paid..... FORGET ABOUT THE SMOKE SCREENS.... FOLLOW THE MONEY !!!!! The power in this country let the masses change leadership every so often..... just so we have something to fight over and think we win once in a while...... I'll give you the same deal as I gave the Wayne and Weasel traveling sideshow. If you end up in the hospital or jail after the election, I will send you flowers or bail money.

No I will be fine. I can live with Osama for 4 years. I will, however, be living in a "red" state.

It won't be fun having 60% of my income taxed however and be donating to the cigarette and junk food fund of many of our fine, outstanding citizens.

I have been working. Some of us are working their tails off so that we can have what we earn get "shared" to those that don't work as hard.

Why I am doing this is anyone's best guess. If I could have the last 15 years back and know that this is the direction we are headed, I would be mowing greens for a living.

Doc if you work you pay taxes. And many work much harder then you. Some two jobs. Time to give them a tax break. Why not the top has been doing just fine.

Wow, I never realized we had a multimillionaire in our midst, much less one that has apparently failed to secure appropriate tax advice from a professional.

It must be nice to not have to worry about the trivial things. :SIB

most of the people that complain don't pay or don't pay as much as they complain... It 's tuff when you make 30k , 40k, and pay taxes ...

I will soon -- SS, Medicare, and a low 40% tax bracket adds up to 60% (if you include state tax)

That is ridiculous and makes me wonder why am I doing this. Why would any kid in the country go through medical training and residency (basically throwing 8-12 years of life away: see 80-100 hour work weeks and insane amounts of stress) after competing really hard in HS and College (throwing more years of life away) in order to have the same outcome as everyone else?

You leftists are going to take away incentive to achieve and be productive in this country. That will have HORRID effects.
