These things are the ugliest ones I have seen come out yet. Even fuglier than Oregon's home uniform. Nike has once again said let my designer wipe my ass with your tradition. Michigan State is the next victim. These look like soccer jerseys
The white ones don't look bad but what is up with the shit green color for the dark unis? It has that dull look and doesn't even match the shiny green helmet.
I agree, that's worse than Oregon's and that's saying something!
Nike must be trying to cut costs I guess LOL. Do you ever see Texas modifying their unis at all? I think they are fine the way they are but you just never who is next. But it does seem to be the new rage to put hideous stripes down the sides of uniforms. The Denver Broncos are the only ones it looks good on.
Actually when Nike took over about 3 years ago, they were told that no drastic changes would be made, period. No fancy stripes or 2-tone colors.
Nike did real well as we needed the change badly since Reebok made those hideous old school practice unis with those big see through holes on the bottom half.
Couldn't find any pics of the old ones but take my word for it, they were UGLY. Here are the newest ones, take a look:
Nobody's uniforms are are whiter than the longhorn's. Their helmets absolutely shine.
I don't care how great the game was last year, when Northwestern played Michigan State, it was unwatchable just because of the way that their uniforms clash with one another.
Can't wait for the football season. Everything else just doesn't compare.
My list for the most aestetically(sp?) games based on the contrasting of uniforms
Oklahoma - Nebraska
Michigan - Ohio State
Texas - aTm
Alabama-Tennessee
USC-UCLA (w/teh baby blue)
Penn State - Alabama (it's been awhile)
