Does anyone like a Forrest bet in this fight?

You can currently get about 9:2 on him.

Mosley is my favorite fighter. First because of his fighting (goes SP and Othodox. Fights going forward, backward and side-to-side. throws a lot, *takes* a lot. in a word: entertainer), and second because of his personality. He's not one to take a guy lightly, especially the man who beat him in the Olympics. He is 35-0 (32, or a staggering 91%). How can you possibly bet against him, crazy man?

Well, a bet on Forrest is a bet on an undefeated fighter (31-0) who has already beat Sugar Shane (that means 99.99% of nothing, if not nothing). Further, all of Shane's fights give me fits because he is a "high-risk high-reward" type of guy. He does get hit, and Saturday he'll get hit by a guy with 25 KO's (81%). The party line is that Forrest can't win but he can give Mosley a lot of trouble. If he can give Mosley a lot of trouble, then he has a *chance* of giving him a lot of trouble. Forrest is taller and with a good plan could outpoint Mosley, though it would have to be pretty convincing to take the belt from Mosley on a decision.

Here's one unit on Forrest, but if you told me you were laying the 1:6 on Mosley, I wouldn't think you were nutty.

SIA: Mosley: 3:25. Forrest 9:2
Carib: Mosley: 1:6. Forrest 4:1

Good call guys! That one really took me by surprise. Of course, the head butt in the 2nd round changed the course of the fight by slowing Mosely down and allowing him to get whacked. Should make for an interesting rematch.

Nice call guys!!! I didn't think it was possible. From the very start, you could tell Sugar was afraid of something that Forrester had by the way he was defending himself, like backing away and throwing unbalanced punches. Sugat usually looks much more confidant than he did last night. Forrester is definately a man to reckon with to say the least.
