Bored this week so I figured someone else out here in cyberworld had to be bored too and could use a laugh.
yesterday afternoon I go to a local college to give some information to a student about a Job with the Navy. The secretary sitting behind the desk sees me walk in and gives me a sour look and makes some rude comment to me along the lines of
"You need to stay the heck away from MY kids!"
Somewhat shocked by the rude comment and brash b*tchy look she gave me, I responded with my usual line:
"That's all right, they probably aren't qualified for us anyway."
Another, even more sinister look crosses her face...
"My son is smart enough to do anything he wants!"
So the student I am there to see comes down and I talk with him and hand him the application and what nots, and in a louder voice than normal (so the b*tch can hear me) I told him about the program that we will pay him $2300 per month for the rest of the time he is in school. We bid each other farewell and then the mean ole secretary lady ever so politely (seriously) asks me about the money while the kid is in school deal. "what is that all about" type question.
I told her that yes, we do pay these kids that much while they are in school and "since your son is so smart he probably already knew about it but figured he could get a free ride from his folks instead."
BAM! thank you and have a nice day!
