Have any of you mounted a flat screen(lcd, plasma) tv on your wall. I was one of the thousands of "doorbusters" to get my hands on a 32in lcd hdtv today and I want to mount it on my wall. Preferrably tilted down slightly, so I can see it a little bit better while I am at my desk which will be right beneath the wall. Are there special packages I need to buy to make sure it is mounted correctly? I spent 6 huors this morning waiting to get it so I don't want to skimp on the mounting and have it fall and break my computer monitor as well.

Also, do I have to buy special cords to get HDTV or will i now be able to access the hdtv channels I couldnt on my regular television?

Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

You have to get a special wall mount bracket that fits your bolt pattern on your tv. They make brackets that tilt slightly or cantalever so you can position it any angle. I have found the brackets pretty expensive, around $150 to $200 in stores. I would check out ebay or slickdeals.net and get it for around $100. Good luck, I havent gotten mine yet but am about to pull the trigger for xmas.

Not sure about HDTV, I think if you get an HDTV signal you should get it. If not then you might need a converter box from your cable company.

I got BEST BUY to install mine. bought a 50" LG Plasma, and I'll be damned it I"m taking a chance on dropping it.

Cost $400.00, though, but they ran wiring behind wall, mounted, set up home theatre, etc.
